Three days. Two formats. One mountain traverse through the untouched heart of Val de Bagnes. A race that stays with you long after the finish line.
Verbier Ultra is a 3-day stage race through the Val de Bagnes — one of the most spectacular alpine valleys in Switzerland. Each stage takes you deeper into the mountains, from hut to hut, through landscapes most people never get to see on foot.
This isn't a road race with barriers and sponsor banners. It's raw, essential, and real. A weekend that strips everything back to what matters: the trail, the mountains, and the people beside you.
"Using sport as a vehicle for consciousness — pushing the limits of self and community."
The full traverse. Three stages across three days, sleeping in alpine huts between each leg. For those who want to live the complete Ultra experience.
The final stage of the traverse, run as a standalone race. An exceptional alpine course for those stepping into ultra distance for the first time.
The opening stage sets the tone immediately. A sweeping alpine panorama over the Val de Bagnes, demanding from the first kilometre.
The longest stage. Through the heights of Verbier and across the most authentic alpine terrain of the entire traverse.
The final stage. The majestic contours of Lac de Mauvoisin, via Cabane FXB and Chanrion. A finish worthy of everything that came before.
From the valley floor to 3,000m summits — alpine scenery that most people only see in photographs, run on foot across three days.
Sleep in mountain huts between each stage. No hotel lobbies, no city noise — just the mountains, your fellow runners, and a well-earned meal.
Muddy laces become shared memories. Aid stations become impromptu parties. A community of ultra runners who show up for each other.
